Before attending this concert in Milwaukee, I had no idea what to expect;
Would these guys be any good, or would obnoxious screams burst through my ear drums like I remembered 11 years ago?
After much anticipation, Hanson kicked off their set to a nearly sold-out venue with ‘Great Divide’, a song which had quite a few plays on Q101.
The band played over 20 songs, accompanied by small discussions in between about continuing their commitment behind ‘The Walk Tour’, and the importance of this show.
The two oldest members, Isaac (27) and Taylor (25), led a discussion about their experiences in Africa, and how the children’s choir inspired them while recording their latest studio album.
Towards the end of the show, the men of Hanson proudly came together with clapping hands to celebrate the 50th mile walked in support of Toms Shoes earlier that day, and thanking their fans for contributing towards 50,000 shoes given to children in Africa last November.
